I've been coming to Albarracin to boulder for years, and every time I ask myself why it's quieter here than in Bleau. The sandstone is warm, red, completely different. The lines are complex, the friction unbelievable.
The medieval village of Albarracin is one of my favourite places in Spain, somewhere I feel very much at home. We're right in the middle of it, walking out to the rocks in the morning and coming back in the evening. Bouldering doesn't get more straightforward than this.

When is the best time for Albarracin?
Spring (April/May) and autumn (October). Summer is too hot, winter too cold for the best conditions. I always set the dates right inside these windows.
What's included in the €749 price?
Included: 7 days of personal coaching with Daniel, accommodation in the medieval village of Albarracin, all crash pads, spot selection and daily planning. Not included: flights / travel to Valencia or Zaragoza, food, personal expenses.
How far away is Albarracin?
About 2.5 hours from Valencia or Zaragoza. I recommend flying to Valencia, then a rental car. I'll send you all the details when you book.
I've never been to Albarracin. Is it good for beginners?
Yes. Albarracin has great lines for every level. If you have experience in the gym or in Fontainebleau, you'll get the full value out of it.
