Eifel.
Basalt in volcano country
The Eifel surprises me again and again. Where we boulder it's basalt: volcanic rock, completely different from the Taunus or Fontainebleau.

What I especially like about the Eifel is the quiet. We're often completely alone on the rock there, far from the bustle of the well-known areas.
One of my favourite regions for day trips and weekend trips, even if the drive is a bit longer.

Is the drive worth it for one day?
Yes. I plan the day trip so we get 5–6 hours on the rock. That's worth it.
Can I also book a weekend?
Of course. I offer weekend trips over 2 days on request. Just call.
What does an Eifel day trip cost?
From €79. Included: coaching with Daniel, all crash pads, spot selection. Not included: travel, food.
